The Vector series of sector and omni antennas has been designed to meet WiMAX applications. Network operators will find this an advantage when developing radio systems to meet WiMAX Forum conformance and interoperability requirements.
The European Antennas' development team has used its expertise to produce cost-effective, high performance antennas for this competitive market. The same stringent quality control parameters are applied to the Vector series as to antennas developed for military and satcom operations.
The Vector series can be used for fixed radio access and broadband networks, with the growing demand for wireless Internet access in mind. Easy to install, the Vector range offers a discreet, robust, high quality antenna solution. Wide operating bands (currently 3.30 to 3.80 GHz and 4.9 to 5.9 GHz) allow incorporation into new and existing networks, reducing the need to maintain a variety of narrow band antennas.
Vector base station sector antennas are available with 60°, 90°, 120° and 180° azimuth beamwidths and built-in electrical down-tilt benefits installation and operation. Sector antennas have up to 19 dBi gain and omni antennas have 8 dBi or 11 dBi gain, within 3.5GHz and 5.5GHz bands. All Vector series antennas come with a fully adjustable mounting kit. They are tested throughout development and manufacture to meet radiation pattern requirements and ETSI regulatory compliance.
