Chelton Newmarket offers a wide range of antennas that can be used in various combinations for countering the unlawful use of drones, UAVs and UGVs.
The particular combination of counter-UAV antennas will depend highly on our customers' requirements (e.g. frequency range, mounting options, weight and power specifications). Combinations also depend on the the requirements of the methods to be employed for countering Drones (e.g. from straight-forward jamming, to spoofing, monitoring, surveillance and direction finding). We can help to identify the optimum solution, and provide it.
Our counter-UAV range comprises four main types of antenna, which can be configured in arrays for a multitude of scenarios, as follows:
Wideband Omni-Directional antennas can be used for general surveillance applications, as well as for high-power jamming. Multiple wideband omnis can be phased or amplitude-matched for use in Direction-Finding (DF) arrays.
Directional Helix antennas provide high gain and enhanced efficiency, while reducing interference with nearby systems. Two bands can be contained within one unit, and circular polarisation allows for the monitoring or countering of any threat.
Directional Flat Panel antennas provide high gain from a small-sized unit, especially for higher frequencies. They can be used for monitoring or for signal denial. They are available in linear or circular polarisations, depending on application.
High Power Ultra-Wideband Directional antennas can cover multiple bands within a single unit, and provide up to 10dBi gain. High power (up to 100W) and circular polarisation provide a powerful combination of features.
