European Antennas has developed a slim panel 60 degree sector antenna with 16dBi gain that can be used for wireless LAN base stations for either the ISM band (2.4 to 2.5GHz for wireless LAN) or for 2-way MMDS applications (2.5 to 2.7GHz). With a total frequency range of 2.4 to 2.7GHz this antenna enables both OEMs and suppliers to reduce inventory by using just one antenna for a choice of applications.
lLightweight, this antenna is extremely robust having a polycarbonate blend radome with an aluminium housing to give it a long external life in demanding conditions.
A special mounting bracket provides +/- 10 degree elevation adjustment and combined with electrical down tilt and null fill below the horizon this new antenna provides optimum coverage for most installations.
Featuring vertical polarisation, the antenna has been designed using a phased array of broadband patches to ensure maximum efficiency. This discreet and unobtrusive antenna measures only 130x725x15mm. Product reference is SA16-60-25V/858.
